June 6th the girls completed their first year at Amazon Valley Academy.  Yesterday morning was the awards day ceremony.  We were very proud of our girls, they had a good year.  Rachel finished up  8th grade with 5 awards for the Junior high; history award, science award, Bible award, the good citizenship award and lastly she earned the Directors Honor Roll (this is for students that have made straight A’s on their report cards each quarter, not even an A-).  Rebekah received the Bible Award for Bible Memorization for the 5th grade plus the Bible knowledge Award from her classmates.  Sarah was awarded the Reading Award for progress and good citizenship by her teacher.
